Music

 
Music is a vital ministry in the spiritual life of Rock Springs UMC. Mark Fiddie is our Choir Director, and Sherry Nastav is our pianist.

Chancel Choir. Our adult Chancel Choir regularly performs sacred music for the 11:00 traditional service of worship, and it also does special programs for Easter and Christmas. The choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Children’s Choir. Our Children’s Choir also sometimes performs for the 11:00 traditional service of worship. The Children’s Choir does not rehearse or perform during the summer break.

Praise Team. Our Praise Team regularly performs a set or two of contemporary music during the 11:00 traditional service of worship. Currently, the Praise Team rehearses on Sunday mornings at 8:30 in the Sanctuary.
